What's up with the Zune Song Card promotion?  We don't even have a marketplace available in Canada!

I was confused by that also the other day... but when you read the info on the product itself, I "This bonus is free with your purchase of select Zune MP3 players. This bonus gift is not for sale. Not applicable to previous purchases and not to be purchased separately - any gifts ordered separately will be cancelled. While supplies last. *Card expires on April 1, 2009." its basically saying its not buyable. i think its only with the web purchases... i guess you get a prepaid thing like the ones for itunes...

You haven't answered my question.  This card is for free songs from where?  The Zune Marketplace isn't available to Canadians so where are these free songs coming from?

The card links you to a special site that lets you choose 30 songs from a list of 100.  Each song must be induvidually downloaded to your computer, then transfered to your Zune from there.

A pretty misleading, low tech promotion for such a shiny new device, IMHO.  Dunno why they couldn't figure out a way to simply pick all 30 at once then transfer them direct to the Zune.

BTW, unless you're under 25 and into Much/MTV style music, the 100 song selection is pretty lame.  Still, 30 free songs > kick to the head.  YYMV.
