[Gaming Review] I love blur. You will too.

by Blogger on 06-06-2010 12:01 PM - last edited on 06-06-2010 12:07 PM

I hate racing games. I love blur. From Bizarre Creations (the same people that birthed Project Gotham Racing and Geometry Wars) this multi-platform racing combat game stands alone on the market as an insane mashup between modern shooters and kart racing. At least one online forum has dubbed it “Call of Burnout 2: Modern Mario Kart” - and they’re right. This isn’t Modnation Racers and it certainly isn’t Split/Second. blur is a game all its own and it’s really, really good. Read more...

by Blogger on 02-23-2010 12:49 AM - last edited on 07-27-2010 12:06 PM by Moderator

Returning to Rapture is no easy task; the city Andrew Ryan built lies at the bottom of the ocean, and in the events of Bioshock 2 it has been ravaged by the seas that envelope it. Can Bioshock 2 match the style and sophistication of its progenitor? Read more...

by Blogger on 01-21-2010 10:27 AM - last edited on 01-21-2010 10:44 AM

Epic is a word that's bandied about like a hackeysack at a hippie convention, but in this case it's apt. Bioware and EA have released the launch trailer to the highly anticipated Mass Effect 2 - and it's every bit as good as we could have hoped for. Read more...

by Blogger on 12-19-2009 03:26 PM - last edited on 12-19-2009 03:26 PM
