I have an old Sony Trinitron TV....the remote does not work ... I would like to be able to use the features of the TV but can't ... can I purchase a remote that will work with this TV..thanks

Do a search for "universal remote" on Future Shop's web site - they sell around a dozen different models with prices beginning as low as $16. One model is even made by Sony (it costs $50). For your purposes, any of the lower cost models should work just fine.

These "universal remotes" come with a printed table that tells you how to set up the "universal remote" so that it will work with your make/model of TV.

If you prefer - you could also try finding a new exact replacement for your original remote - do an internet search. You'd be surprised at the number of companies that have an online business of selling the original manufacturer's remote for older TVs.

You can contact Sony and ask for them to sell you one or you can try one of those Logitech remotes. With the Logitech remotes, you may not be able to use all the features of your TV.
