I can't seem to figure out if the Sony VAIO 14.1" Intel Pentium T4200 2.0GHz Laptop (VGNCS310DQ) is matte or glossy. Does anybody know?

While I can't confirm with 100% certainty, it is almost certainly glossy. Pretty much all current laptops carried by major electronics retails such as Future Shop are glossy, and I don't remember seeing a matte laptop screen from Sony in the past couple of years. So, with that, I'd say it's 99% likely that it's a glossy screen.
