It's a good video how-to.  I do know some viruses re-deploy after you delete/reboot computer.  Sometimes there's two viruses that deploy each other.  It's almost hard to kill two birds with one stone.  You can always set 'do not execute' attribute which works on NTFS partition..

 

Otherwise, for beginners..  Get anti-virus software..  No matter how much I must stress that..  Get one installed ASAP..  You don't want to see your 5+ years of photo collection of your babies be gone.

LOL. hit on the bone. i know what it feels like to suddenly lose all the photos i've been uploading through the years and planning to print. it was a perfect ARGGGHHH moment.
